Chief Red Cloud

Amazing as it may seem, I do stray from the monster art every now and then. This is an airbrush painting I did back in 1994 for my wife as a birthday gift. I found a reference photo in an old book, and I really liked the look of this guy- great details in his face.
In other news, I have been working hard to make some of my original artwork for sale to anyone that may be interested in it. And I am trying to make it available at a very low price- so keep your eyes open over the next few days, hopefully I will have all the details worked out by then. The San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner, and it is keeping me hopping trying to get ready... Fun stuff indeed!!!

Great piece! Looks like a 100 year old photograph. Very nice and soft edges.

Really nice piece... I keep thinking of taking the time to do a few non monster pieces and posting them up, but I think my "audience" is very genre specific.

Have fun at the con, wish I was going. I'd love to meet Forey Ackerman, hopefully he won't pass before I get the chance to meet him and get an autograph. Ugh, I just looked at the guest list... Daniel Clowes,Basil Gogos, Roger Corman, Robert Kirkman, John Romita, Ray Bradbury, George Perez, Kury Busiek, Brian Bolland... I am officially jealous.

You should take a few examples of your stuff and the inking you have been doing plus a business card and maybe talk to a few of the writers, artists, and inkers (like Scott Williams & Jimmy Palmiotti) about getting a job.

Have a blast!
