Illustration Friday -MONSTER
Around 1 a.m. this morning, I was thinking I was going to miss this week's deadline on Illustration Friday... My eyes were burning and my wrist was a little sore, and I was really ready to throw in the towel and go to sleep. It would have been a crying shame if the first IF I missed was the one week when the theme was MONSTER, so I didn't give up. This twisted creature has taken about 15 hours of inking time-using an 1.0 marker. He really deserves to be colored, but I was happy to get him finished so he could show his many faces to the world. There is nothing more interesting or fun to draw than MONSTERS!!! (I just noticed that when I click on the illo to see the larger view, it is coming up as a garbled mass of code... If you hit the refresh button on your browser it should work... let me know if it isn't working...)

It's working fine. I'm speechless. This is an amazing work of art. Your detail is dumbfounding. I'm sure a color version will be out of this world, but it can definitely stand alone this way. Incredible work!
Nice work, The detail is great. So many different faces hidden in the whole the thing, you could look at it forever. Love to see it in color someday
Pure genius! I spent tons of time looking through the details of this. I cannot believe that everytime I loked at a different part, I saw another creature. I'm not sure that this needs colored. It may take away from the details on this. If you ever do color it, I would be interested in seeing the outcome. I hope you would post it.
This is really awesome...in fact all your work is!
wow! well done!
i agree that this doesn't really need color, it's very impressive as it is
