I didn't expect to get this on here until after the weekend, but I managed to finish this guy up early. So here is my first digital monster for 2006. This is a character I created quite a while ago while I was teaching a cartooning class from my home. I was trying to come up with an original name for some little creatures I had drawn, and I was thinking along the lines of the villain duos that pop up in Disney cartoons, ie "Flotsam and Jetsam", "Pain and Panic", etc... so I created this guy with the massive claws, and another little character that was made of stone. I called them Scratch and Dent. So here is Scratch, in full color glory. Created from a black and white line drawing and colored in Photoshop.
