Dead Wacom Pen

Man, it has been WAYYY too long since I posted here! To make a long story short, after my airbrush stint at the haunted house, I sat down to do some work on my computer, only to discover my Wacom pen was "stuck" in click mode. So, I had to wait until I had an extra $30 to cough up for a new pen. It finally arrived in the mail yesterday, so I had a few minutes last night to do a quick color job on this Frankenstein sketch I did a few weeks ago. Pretty fast and rough, but I really needed to get a new post on here. Should be lots more coming soon!!!

What does it take to get used to using the Wacom? I want to get one but I'm a little worried because I tried it and found it was ver difficult to coordinate the pen with what's happening on the monitor. Any tips?

Great stuff as always!

Guy,
My advice is this, Do not use the Wacom for anything other ten doing illustration work, don't use it like a mouse... If you think of it strictly as a pencil and the screen as paper the sooner you'll get used to it...
