Watercolor KISS

Aother one from the vaults. This one was painted with concentrated watercolors, as a Christmas gift for my nephew Jaden in 2003. I didn't own a digital camera at the time I painted this, so I didn't have a photo of it until yesterday. It was my sisters birthday party last night, so while we were at her house I asked Jaden if I could borrow this painting to photograph it for the portfolio- thanks for letting me steal this from you for a couple of days bro! My nephews Jaden and Jantzen also introduced me to a very fun video game last night called "Guitar Hero" for the Playstation 2. We had a good time pretending to be rock stars with those cheesy little plastic guitars. I will be taking the day off from work tomorrow to celebrate July 4th, and I will be back on Wednesday and will hopefully have something new to post then. I will then be taking 4 days to spend some quality vacation time with my family in Bear Lake, Idaho- nothing like cramming 7 different families into one cabin for 4 days! I am ready for a break tho- then it's almost time for the San Diego Comic Con...

Another great KISS piece. I can't believe it is a watercolor.

What kind of watercolor is this? It looks so much like acrylics. Nice, controlled flow and "no accidents"!(in watercolors, they're called happy accidents) I should know, because I am taking a class right now. Happy 4th of July and have a great time vacationing.
