Why I am a STARVING artist

Not art related, but I was checking out "melmade's" blog, and he had some cool photos of his studio with all his toys on the walls. So I decided I would put these up so you can all see where my money goes (well, used to go anyway!) These photos were taken before the prequels even came out, so I have added a lot more to the collection since then. This has been a passion/obsession for almost 30 years now. I started collecting when I was 9, and have tried to stay in that game ever since. That's me on the right in the middle photo, and that's my cousin Brent on the left. He and I have combined our collections- we both had our worlds changed when we saw Episode 4 as kids. Brent lived in Las Vegas while I was here in Utah. Our favorite pastime when we got together was to conquer the galaxy with the latest addition to our collections... had a lot of great times with Brent- he is the brother I never had! He moved to Utah later on, and we put our collections together. It would be fun to do another photo shoot of the collection as it is now, I remember it took forever to set this stuff up- I can only imagine how long it would take now!! Star Wars geeks are crazy for sure!

Star wars fan... that explains why you are so cool! :) Lovely stuff... I just have a few from childhood missing their weapons and battered from the playing, but i love em... Wish I still had the walker and the ewok village.

Hey Star Wars is the greatest as long as you don't mention the Special Editions or the Prequels to me ! As far as I'm concerned Star Wars ended in 1983 !! :)
