Terror and more Terror

October has finally arrived! My favorite time of year has begun. I have been very busy between my regular full time job and working part time at the Rocky Point Haunted House. I will be even more busy starting this week as the haunted house will be open 5 days a week. I manage to sneak in a little time at my regular job to do the ocassional pencil drawing. These "tentacled" creatures are a result of those mini sessions. I don't know if it is because of Davey Jones in Pirates 2, or exactly what the deal is, but I have been sketching a lot of these tentacled critters lately. I also had a few minutes to play around in Painter the other night- did the sketch of Alice Cooper in about 30 minutes using the charcoal medium. Pretty sketchy, but it was a good exercise. I will try to put a few more pictures from my make-up work on here as well. The haunted house has been very therapeutic and I can already feel my airbrushing skills improving. I am sure that I will be amped up to do some serious airbrush illos by the end of the month! I am also going to try to squeeze in time to watch a different horror movie every night this month... we'll see how that goes! Tonight the madness begins with the classic "Night of the Living Dead". Man, is there really anything better than Halloween time?
